Sify Infinit Spaces Limited is the Data Center subsidiary of Sify Technologies.

Sify Technologies was India’s first ICT company to foresee the demand for Data Centers as standalone emerging business to complement the aggressive offtake of Data in the country. Sify’s and India’s first concurrently managed Data Center was commissioned way back in September 2000.

With Cloud services becoming the mainstay of an organisations’ IT operations, Sify quickly ramped up investments into mid and hyper-scale Data Center facilities across the country, concentrating especially on financial hotspots for clients who insisted on near-sight locations. With time, the market has matured to accept remote location of their Data Center and Disaster Recovery facilities. All these facilities now offer Cloud connects and tenant some of the biggest names in the business.

The last few years have seen India Enterprises put their Digital Transformation plans into high gear and this has led to a cascading demand for co-location space. The demand has been near identical from Governments who seek to establish a digital channel for all citizen services. It is to cater to these demands, that Sify switched to a mix of retail and consumer consumption colocated spaces. In time, the profile of the investments has grown to accommodate hyperscale Data Centers, Data lakes and all associated services.

Sify Infinit spaces was created as a subsidiary to house all investments into the Data Center space, specifically colocation. As on date, Sify has 12 Data Center locations spread across India and offers approximately 200MW of IT power to the market with 2 more to be ready by the end of the year. The latest iteration of our Data Centers is AI ready, liquid cooled certified for GPX ready workloads. Apart from these, Sify has also built Data Centers for multiple state governments to house and expand their digital ambitions.
